STATEMENT:
These works on paper were an ongoing body of paintings being produced in a makeshift home studio while Melbourne was under Stage 4 COVID 19 stay at home restrictions from August to November 2020. Influenced by interior modernist architecture, the play of light through windows and gaps in partially open doors and how we relate to each other in this period of very minimal social interaction.

This body of work continues to reference the intersection between the digital, analogue and spiritual.

The size, medium and methodology of image making are all dictated by the limited space and markedly changed routines while painting at home and not in the regular studio.
