STATEMENT:
This body of work explores the intersection of digital, analogue and spiritual, referencing digital codes, systems, schemes and language that we encounter or use on a daily basis. The works are a response to pervasive digital algorithms and predictive systems that influence our current Western social and economic cultures.

At their material level they are an ongoing exploration of the interaction and response of modulated and unmodulated planes of colour within a structured gridded environment dictated by the digital choices made in the initial creative process.

This is the beginning of a new body of work for Brook, with a developing lexicon of heightened colour combinations and geometric forms. Seeking balance and wholeness within the painted geometries.
